2024 marks the end of Monitum AB’s first full year of operations—a year characterized by growth, successful partnerships, and key milestones. Through hard work and strategic decisions, the company has not only strengthened its position in the Swedish market but also made significant strides on the international stage by securing agreements with two of the world’s largest security companies for the Smart Smoke service.
The year was not without its challenges. The acquisition of Muuun in mid-2023 resulted in an intense period of integration, where both technical expertise and team culture needed to be unified under Monitum’s banner. Taking over responsibility for an established product while ensuring a smooth transition for both staff and customers was a true test.

Through this year’s international successes, Monitum has also demonstrated that its business model works globally. The agreements with two of the world’s largest security companies for the Smart Smoke service provide clear proof of this and offer the company a stable platform to increase its recurring revenue from international clients.
Throughout the year, Monitum has continued to invest in its technical infrastructure and expanded its team with new expertise and skilled talents to be prepared for future demands. These investments have been crucial to meet increasing demand while laying the foundation for continued scalability and innovation.
The company has also strengthened its sales strategy through six new partnerships with entities now leveraging Monitum’s services to both existing and new customers.
In 2024, Monitum participated for the first time in an international trade show—Anticipate in London—where the company's product Muuun, the hardware behind the Smart Smoke service, was showcased. The event was a success and provided an essential platform for establishing new connections and demonstrating the company’s innovative solutions.

In 2025, Monitum plans to further increase its presence at international trade shows and events to reach even more partners.
